Why does it say comment deleted now? If thats what it is going to say after everytime I delete spam I am going to have a whole list of these things. Did blogger change the settings? Can I change it back? Does anyone know?
Allie, to avoid the spam you need to either:
1. Enable word verification for comments on the comments page in blogger.
or
2. Use something like Haloscan which does not require comment word verification.

I really hate the word verification thing, I think I shall resist... for now atleast. I will just keep deleting spam as it appears :-)
