I had to go back to my blog to find something I'd written, and it struck me that these 1584 posts represent a time and world that does not exist today.
I need some time to explore the musings and warnings of yesterday me. For a long time I have not been publishing to this blog, it seemed to become redundant with the onset of other social media platforms I was becoming very involved in. Also, a stint of political organizing had me abandon blogging all together for a while. A long while. It's been 11 years since I have even looked at this blog. So much (too much?) has changed during this past decade and change.
I think I miss this more innocent and naïve me still full of youthful hope that meagre me could still influence a a change for the better instead of what my GenX existential dread had always predicted.
We had some good times here, didn't we?
